Jupiter, planet of expansion and philosophy, is retrograde in the third pada of Dhanishtha from August 18th to September 14th 2021.

This is the same area Jupiter was in between April 5th to 27th, and many of your experiences from that time arise again and give you a fresh perspective. Dhanishtha Pada Three is in the Aquarius portion this asterism and relates to Libra navamsha – the relationship and subtle-body chart – which brings an underlying sharing quality to Aquarius’s impersonal nature.

Any romantic intrigue from last April is also likely to return, centring around similar issues, and you can decide now whether to stay put or ring the changes. This brings a feeling of fate, where the same relationship scenario reruns, possibly even with a totally different person than last time.

Use this time as a reference point and a clue to the personal matters you have to address and work around. Jupiter in this pada has an airy and intellectual quality, with a broad-ranging humanitarian vision, but also a subtle desire for closeness and intimacy.

You may return into a wide circle of people and find a rapport with one special person, where you bond over a search for philosophical truth. Be mindful of indecision when you weigh up two equally attractive options, and again, refer to recent experience to make your final call.

Dhanishtha is ruled by the Ashta (eight) Vasus, which are the auspicious wealth-givers in Vedic mythology, and its Shakti, or special gift, is also ‘To Bestow Wealth and Fame’, so there is the promise of renown and prosperity through Venusian good relations, charm and the arts.

It may be time to jump aboard with a business proposition from the springtime, now that you’ve had time to assess the whole picture.
